Abu Dhabi T10 2022 will start today with a double-header contest. Bangla Tigers will lock horns with New York Strikers, while Deccan Gladiators will be in action against the home franchise, Team Abu Dhabi. There are four other teams in this tournament, namely Delhi Bulls, Morrisville Samp Army, Northern Warriors and The Chennai Braves.
BCCI does not allow any Indian player to play in foreign leagues. However, if a player announces retirement from both IPL and international cricket, then he becomes eligible to play in the foreign leagues. In this listicle now, we will look at seven Indian players who are part of Abu Dhabi T10 2022.
1. Yuvraj Singh (Mentor)
Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is the mentor of the New York Strikers team. He was the hero of India’s 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 World Cup wins.
2. Sreesanth will play in Abu Dhabi T10
Another Indian player who won both 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 WC to feature on the list is fast bowler Sreesanth. He has been signed by the Bangla Tigers team.
3. Suresh Raina will play in Abu Dhabi T10
2011 World Cup winner Suresh Raina has also joined the league this year. He will be playing for the Deccan Gladiators team.
4. Harbhajan Singh will play in Abu Dhabi T10
Delhi Bulls roped in India’s World Cup hero of 2007 and 2011 – Harbhajan Singh. He will reunite with his ex-CSK teammate Dwayne Bravo, who is the captain of the Delhi Bulls.
5. Nav Pabreja
New Delhi-based cricketer Nav Pabreja will be seen in this competition as well. He is a member of the New York Strikers team.
6. Stuart Binny
Former Indian all-rounder Stuart Binny will don the New York Strikers jersey. He will play under the leadership of Kieron Pollard.
7. Abhimanyu Mithun
Former Indian fast bowler Abhimanyu Mithun will represent the Northern Warriors. Former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Irfan is also a part of this team.
