1. Joginder Sharma, 2007 T20 World Cup
Not a single cricket fan will forget this. Medium pacer Joginder Sharma dismissed Misbah-ul-Haq on the last ball of the inaugural T20 WC and helped India become the champions.
2. Lasith Malinga, 2009 T20 WC
It may surprise a few fans but Pakistan won the T20 WC 2009 Final with a leg-bye. Lasith Malinga bowled the 19th over and on the fourth ball, Shahid Afridi took a leg-bye to win the tournament.
3. Shane Watson, 2010 T20 WC
Former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson bowled the final ball of T20 WC 2010. Paul Collingwood hit the ball towards the mid-wicket region and won the tournament for England.
4. Sunil Narine, 2012 T20 World Cup
Caribbean all-rounder Sunil Narine bowled the last ball of the mega event in 2012. He took the wicket of Lasith Malinga and helped West Indies win.
5. R Ashwin, 2014 T20 World Cup
R Ashwin was hit for a six by Thisara Perera on the last ball of the T20 WC 2014 Final. Ashwin conceded 11 runs off 5 balls in the 18th over of the innings.
6. Ben Stokes, 2016 T20 WC
No cricket fan can forget this one as well. Carlos Brathwaite smashed four consecutive sixes off Ben Stokes and guided West Indies to their second title.
7. Tim Southee, 2021 T20 WC
Kiwi pacer Tim Southee was hit for a four on the last ball of the T20 WC 2021 Final. Glenn Maxwell was the batter and Australia won the tournament.
8. Mohammad Wasim Jr, 2022 T20 World Cup
Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Wasim Jr bowled the final ball of the 2022 T20 WC. Ben Stokes took a single and inspired England to their second T20 WC title.
