Cricketers are no less than celebrities in today’s world. They are among the most-followed sportspersons on the planet. In fact, star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is the most-followed Asian on Instagram. The players generally tend to shift focus from studies to cricket very early in their lives.
Fans would have heard many cricketers say that they did not even study in college and dropped out after completing school. Not all players have had the same journey. Here’s a list of eight such cricketers who were excellent in studies.

Another Indian women’s cricketer on the list is Shikha Pandey. She completed her B Tech degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering. She had more than 90% score in 10th and 12th exams.

Kane Williamson is one of the sincerest cricketers in the world. He was a sincere student as well. Williamson topped in his class in New Zealand and once was the head boy in his school.
7. Ravichandran Ashwin
Known to be one of the smartest cricketers in the world, Ravichandran Ashwin was also a bright student. He is an engineer and even pursued IT profession before switching to cricket.
8. Sarfaraz Ahmed
Pakistan wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed also has an engineering degree to his name. Ahmed was the captain who led Pakistan to the ICC Champions Trophy win in 2017.
