    Due to tough competition, some Australian cricketers moved out and played for another nation. There have also been such instances when an extraordinary player of another country got the chance to play for Australia. Here’s a list of nine such Australian cricketers:

    1. Billy Midwinter

    Billy Midwinter played eight Test matches for the Aussies from 1877 to 1887. He also played four Tests for England in the middle from 1881 to 1882.

    2. Billy Murdoch

    Billy Murdoch scored 896 runs in 18 Tests for the Aussies from 1877 to 1890. Two years after his last Tests for Australia, Murdoch played one Test for England.

    3. JJ Ferris

    Like Billy Murdoch, JJ Ferris played Test cricket for Australia till 1890. In 1892, he turned up for the England team in one Test match.

    4. Sammy Woods

    Sammy Woods played six Test matches in his career, three each for Australia and England. His three appearances for the Aussies came in 1888, while the three for England were in 1896.

    5. Albert Trott

    Albert Trott played three Tests for the Australian side in the year 1895. Four years later, he played a couple of Tests for England.
