David Warner, after a long barren run, has returned back to form. This has got his fans and the neutral cricket followers happy. In this article, we take a look at how Twitter took a dig at SRH after David Warner returns to form in the game against Sri Lanka.
Warner returns to form
Over the last few months, especially in the Indian Premier League, David Warner suffered from bad form. While SRH did not back him, Team Australia did that. Now, at the right moment, the southpaw has returned back to form.
Chasing 155 against a tricky Sri Lankan bowling line-up in the ongoing T20 World Cup campaign, Warner scored 65 runs from 42 deliveries and helped Australia chase the score with three overs to spare. It was a trademark Warner-innings as he combined fearlessness and game awareness to do well at the crease.
Twitter takes a dig at SRH
In the IPL, many were disappointed with SRH’s handling of Warner. He is a legend in the competition and yet, with just a few bad games, SRH dropped Warner. They also removed him from captaincy. Now after he returned to form, many took the opportunity to take a dig at the IPL franchise. We take a look at a few reactions below:
