    Chennai Super Kings are one of the most successful franchises in the history of the Indian Premier League. They joined the league in 2008 and have won four championships so far. Many great players have been a part of this franchise in the IPL.

    Some of the former CSK players have now retired. Eight of them will be in action later this year in the second season of Legends League T20.

    While Irfan Pathan never played a match for the CSK franchise, he was a part of the team in 2015. Pathan will be in action playing in the Legends League T20.

    2. Former Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Albie Morkel

    Albie Morkel was a big match-winner for the CSK franchise during his active days as a cricketer. He is a coach of Namibia now and has enrolled his name for Legends League T20.

    3. Former Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Thisara Perera

    Not many fans might know that Thisara Perera made his IPL debut for CSK in 2010. He won the championship with the team that year. Having retired from international matches, the former Sri Lanka captain will now play in Legends League T20.

    Another player from CSK’s IPL 2010 squad to feature on the list is Parthiv Patel. The former Indian wicket-keeper batter will play in Legends League for the first time since retirement.

    Harbhajan Singh was a part of Chennai Super Kings in 2018 and 2019. The right-arm off-spinner has registered himself for the Legends League T20 tournament.

    6. Joginder Sharma

    India’s T20 World Cup 2007 hero Joginder Sharma will return to the cricket field in Legends League T20 2022. Sharma played in multiple IPL seasons for CSK.

    7. Subramaniam Badrinath

    Subramaniam Badrinath was an integral part of the CSK team during the initial seasons. He is a Tamil commentator now and will play in Legends League T20.

    8. Former Chennai Super Kings spinner Muttiah Muralitharan

    Sri Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan completes this list. He won IPL 2010 with CSK and then went on to play for Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
