Legendary Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid has a son named Samit, who has started his cricketing career now. Samit is a right-handed batter just like his father, who was popularly known as The Wall of the Indian team. Earlier this year, Rahul coached the Indian team to their second T20 World Cup trophy.
Considering how much success Rahul has achieved in the world of coaching, it is not a surprise that his son Samit has started to perform well at a young age in the Maharaja T20 Trophy. Like Sachin Tendulkar and Arjun Tendulkar, there are quite a few Indian players who were active when Rahul Dravid was playing and are still active.

1. Mayank Agarwal played with Rahul Dravid and his son
Mayank Agarwal was a U-19 cricketer when Rahul Dravid was in the final days of his career. Hence, it is not a surprise to see Mayank on this list. The right-handed opener played for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL 2011, a season where Rahul Dravid turned up for the Rajasthan Royals. Now, Mayank is playing in Maharaja T20 Trophy 2024 against Samit.
2. Manish Pandey
While Mayank Agarwal played against Rahul Dravid in the royal derby of IPL, Manish Pandey played with Dravid for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2009 and 2010 seasons of the Indian Premier League. Pandey won IPL 2024 trophy with Kolkata Knight Riders. Right now, he is playing in the Maharaja T20 Trophy 2024 as well.
3. Karun Nair
Karun Nair is the captain of Samit Dravid’s team Mysuru Warriors in the ongoing Maharaja T20 Trophy tournament. The right-handed batter shared the dressing room with Rahul Dravid in his final season of the IPL in 2013. In fact, Karun announced his arrival in the league during that tournament.
