    The first half of 2024 will be quite exciting for cricket fans in India and Pakistan as IPL and PSL will happen this year. There are 10 teams in IPL and six in PSL. The franchises aim to sign some of the top overseas players in the world for their respective leagues.

    While the IPL gets more overseas talent because of the break in international window, PSL teams have also managed to sign some great names from the foreign countries. Here’s a playing XI of some common names who will play in both IPL and PSL 2024.

    Openers – Tom Kohler-Cadmore (wk) and Jason Roy

    English batter Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Jason Roy will open the batting for this playing XI. Tom plays for Rajasthan Royals and Peshawar Zalmi in PSL, meanwhile Roy plays for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL and Quetta Gladiators in PSL.

    Middle Order – Rilee Rossouw (c), Shai Hope, Rovman Powell, Sikandar Raza, David Willey and Tom Curran

    Rilee Rossouw captains the Quetta Gladiators in PSL and will turn up for the Punjab Kings this IPL season. Shai Hope will make his IPL debut for Delhi Capitals, while in PSL, he plays for Lahore Qalandars. Rovman Powell will don the Rajasthan Royals jersey in IPL. Meanwhile, in PSL, he plays for Peshawar Zalmi.

    Sikandar Raza is a member of Lahore Qalandars in PSL and Punjab Kings in IPL. RCB pacers David Willey and Tom Curran play for Multan Sultans and Islamabad United, respectively in PSL.

    Bowlers – Reece Topley, Naveen-ul-Haq and Noor Ahmad

    Gujarat Titans spinner Noor Ahmad will lead the spin attack of this playing XI. Ahmad is teammates with Naveen-ul-Haq at Peshawar Zalmi in PSL. Meanwhile, RCB speedster Reece Topley was a part of the Multan Sultans but ECB withdrew him from the competition.
