“Age is just a number for MSD”- Twitter reacts as MS Dhoni turns back the clock with fantastic run-out diving forward against Punjab

The 11th match of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League is currently underway at the Brabourne Stadium, where the Chennai Super Kings are taking on the Punjab Kings. CSK captain Ravindra Jadeja won the toss and decided to bowl first in Mumbai. MS Dhoni and Mukesh Choudhary ensured that the Punjab Kings lost two early wickets.

Punjab Kings skipper Mayank Agarwal smashed a four to kick off the proceedings in Mumbai, but Mukesh Choudhary soon bounced back by taking his wicket. Agarwal hit a shot straight to fielder Robin Uthappa who made no mistakes in taking the catch. Next, Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Shikhar Dhawan attempted to steal a run during the second over.

But there was some confusion between the two batters, and ultimately, a fantastic run out from MS Dhoni sent Bhanuka Rajapaksa back to the pavilion.

Earlier today, Jadeja won the toss and decided to field first. Speaking at the toss, Jadeja informed that England’s star player Chris Jordan made his Chennai Super Kings debut tonight replacing Tushar Deshpande.

“We try to keep things very simple. We are an experienced team and we back each and every player. We are very much experienced team and they all know what to do when they are under the pump. We have one change, Chris Jordan comes in for Tushar Deshpande,” said Jadeja.
