Expressing surprise at having to bid adieu to the PSL this year, Shehzad shared his feelings about being once again omitted from the draft. In a poignant reflection, he stated, “I never expected to say farewell to the Pakistan Super League this year. I’m sharing my feelings because, once again, I wasn’t selected in this year’s PSL draft. The same recurring tale. God only knows why.”

Despite delivering notable performances in Karachi’s National T20 Cup, showcasing a resilient 60 off 52 balls and an impressive 81 off 44 balls, Shehzad found himself overlooked.
