After the successful completion of the 2nd season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL), it was time for the Indian women’s player find out their respective team in the Women’s The Hundred 2024 edition.

The players draft for the Women’s The Hundred and the Men’s The Hundred was held on the 20th of March on Wednesday.

While there was no Indian players in the Men’s The Hundred 2024 Player Draft, there were some Indian women’s team players in the list for the Women’s The Hundred 2024. In this article, we take a look at the Indian women’s players who have been picked in the Women’s The Hundred 2024 Players Draft. Only Indian players have been picked in the draft despite quite a few players registering their name.

Smriti Mandhana

After recently leading the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Women’s team to win their maiden Women’s Premier League (WPL) beating Delhi Capitals in the final, Smriti Mandhana will now be turning out in the Women’s The Hundred 2024. Mandhana is set for a return to the Southern Brave, the team she has been playing for since 2021.

Richa Ghosh

Another Indian women’s cricketer who won the WPL 2024 with the Royal Challengers Bangalore and will now be turning out in the Women’s The Hundred 2024. Richa Ghosh played for the London Spirit in her debut season last year but will be turning out for the Birmingham Phoenix alongside some of her RCB teammates.
