While the T20 format (20-20 overs each) is slowly becoming the pinnacle of all cricketing formats in the modern day against the likes of ODI and Test cricket, where fans now prefer to watch much shorter T20 format, the T10 format is also gaining its reputation recently.
In the last couple of years, T10 League have gained prominence around the world. As of now, it is the most shortest format of the game. The T10 League has allowed European countries to invest more in cricket as T10 format means less time consuming and more action.
The T10 League has mostly been away from the Indian cricket scenes, but it is slowly slowly taking over. The T10 League is fever is currently on in Hyderabad with the Hyderabad T10 League that commenced on the 18th of March.
Hyderabad T10 League Teams
In the Hyderabad T10 League, a total of six teams are taking part in the tournament, they are namely, Rangareddy Royals, Karimnagar Kings, Hyderabad Heroes, Adilabad Tigers, Nalgonda Lions and Mahbubnagar Warriors.
Hyderabad T10 League Format
The tournament officially commenced on the 18th of March with the opening match between Hyderabad Heroes and Nalgonda Lions. In this tournament, a total of 18 matches will be played. Everyday will see triple-header of matches. The teams will face off against each other once in a round robin format, then the top 4 teams will qualify for the semi-final on the 23rd of March and the final will be played on the 24th of March.
