The final T20I of the three-match series between the Indian cricket team and the South African cricket team started earlier today at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. The Men in Blue won the toss and elected to bowl first. South Africa got off to a bad start as their captain Temba Bavuma failed to make an impact once again.

However, the duo of Quinton de Kock and Rilee Rossouw stabilized the innings with a splendid partnership for the second wicket. Both the left-handed batters completed their respective half-centuries and guided the team’s score closer to 100. The pitch is excellent for batting, and even Indian captain Rohit Sharma acknowledged it in the pre-match interview as he said:

“We’re going to field first. It’s a very high-scoring ground when we’ve played here, so it’s nice to have a score in front of us. Virat and KL, both have been rested. Arshdeep has an issue with his back, so he misses out as a precautionary measure.”
