The Sunrisers Hyderabad unveiled their new jersey for IPL 2022 yesterday. The new look kit has a dark orange color this time. Also, SRH have reduced the blackish touch in their jersey colors. The new Sunrisers Hyderabad jersey design was out before only, but yesterday, fans saw the first photo of Kane Williamson wearing the jersey.
SRH joined the IPL in the year 2013. Before the Sunrisers joined the league, the Deccan Chargers represented the Hyderabad city. SRH qualified for the playoffs in their debut season itself. However, they could not finish in the Top 4 during the 2014 and 2015 seasons of the IPL. Then came the era of David Warner.
The Australian batter scored runs consistently at the top of the order for SRH. His supreme consistency and excellent leadership guided SRH to their maiden trophy in 2016. SRH also made it to the playoffs in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. However, they finished last in IPL 2021.
It seems like the SRH team management has changed a lot of things after the disastrous season they had. They have released star players from their squad. Also, the new Sunrisers Hyderabad jersey is much different than the previous one.
