The fourth match of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League is currently underway with the Lucknow Super Giants and the Gujarat Titans playing against each other at the Wankhede Stadium. The duo of Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda has grabbed all the headlines by putting aside their personal differences and playing like professionals for the Lucknow Super Giants.
During the first innings of the team, the all-rounder Deepak Hooda scored a half-century for the team. While Hooda played some quality strokes against the Gujarat Titans, Krunal Pandya clapped for him while sitting in the dugout. When Hooda lost his wicket after a game-changing fifty, Pandya patted him on the back while he was returning to the dressing room.
Previously, the mentor of the Lucknow Super Giants team Gautam Gambhir said in an interview with PTI about the duo:
“Look, you don’t have to be best friends off the field to perform on it. They are professionals and they know that they have a job to do. You don’t have to go out for dinner every night if you are playing in the same team.”
