The much awaited ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is set to kick-off in less than 24 hours with the defending champions England cricket team set to take on the last edition’s finalists New Zealand cricket team in the opening match.
But before the much awaited clash to commence, the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today held a captain day event where all the captains where present.
From England captain Jos Buttler, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson, Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan to Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma and all the other 10 teams captain.
However, it is South Africa captain Temba Bavuma who stole the show. During the Captain Day event, South African cricket team skipper Temba Bavuma was captured having a little nap in a image that is going viral to social media. Meanwhile, after seeing the same, many fans are comparing it with former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed’s famous picture from last edition’s World Cup.
