Indian batter Virat Kohli continued his exploits with the bat at Adelaide Stadium in the ongoing T20 World Cup. Against Bangladesh, he smashed an unbeaten 64 off just 44 balls including eight fours and a six. It was his third fifty of the event and is leading the run-scorer as well.

Kohli loves batting at Adelaide and he even called it one of his favorite grounds. He said: “Adelaide ground is like a home for me, I love playing a lot here”. Why not? He has scored 907 runs in 12 innings at that ground.

After his innings, former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni’s 6-year old tweet goes viral on the internet. In the clip, a reporter asked to describe Kohli’s love story with Adelaide stadium. Turning his humor mode on, Dhoni said: “They’ll be naming a stand after Virat Kohli in Adelaide, the way he’s scoring runs at that ground”.

Thanks to Kohli’s knock and a fifty from opener KL Rahul, Team India clinched a valuable 5-run win against the Tigers. With this win, they are now leading their group stage with six points. They are almost qualified for the next round unless a miracle happens. They will next lock horns with Zimbabwe on Sunday.
