Dale Steyn is currently in India with the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad as the fast-bowling coach of the Hyderabad-based franchise. The Sunrisers have got off to a decent start in IPL 2022, registering two wins and two losses in four matches. Steyn seemed to have some free time from his duties today as he caught up with the fans on Twitter for a Q and A session.

The former South African cricket team fast bowler posted a tweet from his official Twitter handle, asking fans to send in questions for him. He tried to answer as many as he could, and one of them was about the best batter across all formats of cricket in the world at the moment.

While Steyn did not have a confident answer, he did say that according to him, Babar Azam is probably the best in the world when one considers the performance in all three formats. Here’s what Steyn replied to a fan who asked him about the best all-format batter in the world currently:

Dale Steyn gave his honest opinion on the streets in Mumbai

Since the BCCI has allotted all matches of IPL 2022 league round to Maharashtra, all cricketers and support staff members have received an opportunity to have an extended stay in Mumbai. In one of his previous tweets, Steyn heaped praise on the cleanliness of the streets in Mumbai as he wrote:

“I must say, the streets in Mumbai are super clean, I can clearly see there’s been a massive effort in keeping litter off the streets. Well done.”

Steyn could never win the Indian Premier League trophy during his playing days. It will be interesting to see if he can win a title as a coach this year.
