Jason Roy has received a unique punishment from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). The ECB have not revealed the real reason for the ban, but they have banned him for two matches. Interestingly, they have suspended the ban for 12 months depending on the good behavior of the cricket team.

Roy is one of the top openers in white-ball cricket right now. He has made a name for himself with his explosive batting performances. The right-handed batter provides solid starts to his team in the powerplay overs. “The Cricket Discipline Commission has announced its sanction on Roy after he admitted a charge of conducting himself in a manner which may be prejudicial to the interests of cricket or which may bring the game of cricket, the ECB and himself into disrepute.”
