The big day for the Indian cricket team is here as Virat Kohli led Indian team is set to take the field today in their 2nd match of the T20 World Cup 2021, against New Zealand.
India and New Zealand are coming into the match after suffering defeats to the men in green Pakistan on the 24th and on the 26th October respectively.
With both the teams bottom half of the points table, a win is must for both the teams to keep respective semi-finals birth open.

2. Ross Taylor
Ross Taylor has always been a headache for any Indian bowlers in any formats of the game. He sits 2nd in the list with 349 runs at an average of 34.90 and strike rate of 129.25.
He has 2 fifties against India and has hit 19 fours and 14 sixes, with the highest score of 54 runs not out in 2020 in the 1st T20I played in Auckland.
3. Rohit Sharma
Rohit Sharma is the highest run scorer against New Zealand in the T20 International cricket. The hitman has played 13 matches against New Zealand, of which he has scored 338 runs.
His highest score is 80 runs in the 1st T20I played between the teams in Delhi on November the 1st in 2017, India won that match by 53 runs with Shikhar Dhawan awarded as the Man of the Match for his 80 runs too.
4. Kane Williamson
New Zealand captain Kane Williamson is a class player in any formats. He has lead New Zealand to numerous records. The Kiwi skipper has scored 325 runs against India with the highest score of 95 runs in the 3rd T20 International played in 2020, that included 8 fours and 6 sixes.
He will be a threat again for Team India and getting him out early will be the utmost priority for Jasprit Bumrah and India’s bowling department.
5. Virat Kohli
How can we not have the Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli in this list. He sits at fifth place in this list with 302 runs at an average of 37.75 and strike rate of 145.
His highest score of 70 runs came on the September 11th in 2012 in the 2nd T20I match played between the side in Chennai. Virat Kohli had been struggling to score runs in the entire IPL, but is back in form with him scoring fifty against Pakistan.
