Mumbai Indians and Indian cricket team’s star bowler Jasprit Bumrah has reacted through his social media account, after he was retained by Mumbai Indians before the IPL 2022 Mega Auction.


The deadline for the submission and announcement of the list of retained players for all the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises have gone past and all the teams have also announced their retained players list.

A one certain team that everyone was looking forward to was the 5 times IPL Champions Mumbai Indians, a star studded team filled up with superstars all around.

The BCCI had set the rules that each team can retain a maximum of 4 players before the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. 4 players can be either 4 Indian players or 3 Indian and 1 overseas player or 2 Indian and 2 overseas players.

Mumbai Indians opted to retain their captain Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav and Kieron Pollard. It was always in no doubt that Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah, the 2 important members of the Indian cricket team will get retained.

While reacting to being retained by the Mumbai Indians, Jasprit Bumrah took to his social media handle to post that the story continues. “The story continues @mipaltan,” tweeted Jasprit Bumrah.
