“We know he is looking down on us” – Jos Buttler dedicates reaching IPL 2022 Final to Late RR Captain Shane Warne

Rajasthan Royals’wicketkeeper batsman Jos Buttler had some touching words to say after he guided his team to the Final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.

It was the Rajasthan Royals who walked out victorious in the Qualifier 2 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 against Royal Challengers Bangalore to book a grand finale against the Gujarat Titans.

The match started with luck being beside Sanju Samson, who finally won the toss and opted to bowl first. Virat Kohli’s poor run of form continued as he got out for 7 runs from 8 balls.

But then, the eliminator match hero for the Bangalore franchise, Rajat Patidar once again starred for franchise, scoring 58 runs from 42 balls to set-up a target of 158 runs for the Rajasthan Royals.

But, it didn’t bother the Royals at all. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler gave the franchise a flying start in persuit of the target, before the former was dismissed for 21 runs.

But, the wicketkeeper batsman Jos Buttler didn’t stopped there. He saw the team over the line, in the process, scored his 4th Hundred of the IPL 2022 season and gave his team a easy 7 wickets victory.

But he had some heart-touching words to say following the teams victory, dedicating it to former Rajasthan Royals captain and the first ever to win the IPL, Shane Warne.

While talking in the post-match presentation ceremony, Jos Buttler dedicated the victory to recently passed away former Rajasthan captain Shane Warne. Buttler said, “Shane Warne is such a influencial figure for the Rajasthan Royals and having led the team to success in the first season, we will miss him dearly, but we know he is looking down on us with a lot of pride today.”
