The three-match ODI series between the Indian cricket team and the West Indies cricket team is not live on Star Sports or Sony Sports. For the first time in a long time, a match of the Indian cricket team is airing live only on the DD Sports channel. It is the Doordarshan channel which is the only home of India vs West Indies on TV.

FanCode has bought the broadcast rights for all home matches of Cricket West Indies in the Indian regions. To make sure that the TV Audiences do not miss out on the ongoing series between the Indian cricket team and the West Indies cricket team, they shared the TV rights with DD Sports.

The first ODI is happening right now, and fans got nostalgic to see cricket on Doordarshan again. Speaking about what happened at the toss, West Indies won the toss and asked the Indian cricket team to bat first. Indian skipper Shikhar Dhawan said:

“We wanted to bat second because of the weather around, the wicket might be a bit sticky. I’m a cool captain. I have to ensure that the energy stays up and keep the team going with the right processes to get the right results. We’ve got so much talent in our country. The boys have a lot of exposure.”
