Rishabh Pant and Urvashi Rautela have made the headlines together on multiple occasions in the past. However, in the past week, they have been all over the Internet. The drama started with the Bollywood actress narrating a story involving a person she named ‘RP’, which fans claimed to be Rishabh Pant.
In her interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actress revealed that ‘RP’ waited for many hours to meet her in the hotel lobby. She also missed 16-17 missed calls from ‘RP’ as she was asleep, as a result, they couldn’t meet on that day.
“I was shooting in Varanasi, and I had a show in New Delhi thereon, so I had to take a flight,” said Rautela in the interview with Bollywood Hungama. In New Delhi, I was shooting a full day, and after about 10 hours of shooting, when I went back, I had to get ready, and you know that girls take a lot of time to get ready.”
“Mr RP came, he sat in the lobby, and waited for me, and he wanted to meet. I was so tired that I dozed off to sleep, and I didn’t realise that I had received so many calls,” said Rautela.
Denying her claims, the Indian wicketkeeper posted a story on Instagram which read: “It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meagre popularity and for hitting the headlines,”. However, he deleted the story after a few minutes.
The Miss Diva Universe again hit back at the cricketer by calling him “Chotu bhaiyya (little brother)” and asked him to stick to bat and ball on social platforms. And now Pant has uploaded a cryptic story on his Instagram handle having a quote: “Don’t stress over what you cannot control.”
Rishabh Pant has been one of the best batters for India in the past months across all formats. He was last seen in action in the T20I series against West Indies. He is named in India’s squad for the Asia Cup 2022 and is expected to return to the field on 28 August, when India takes on Pakistan in their tournament opener.
