Due to the bio-bubble requirements and based on the assignments for their national teams, a few popular players have missed the IPL 2022 bus. Meanwhile, former Chennai Super Kings player Sam Curran has given the reason as to why he would be missing IPL 2022. He took to his social media account to reveal the reason.

In 32 games so far, the Englishman has scored 337 runs apart from taking 32 wickets. While he regularly did well with the ball, he has often produced quality knocks with the bat. It was in IPL 2021 that Curran suffered an injury that eventually ruled him out of the 2021 T20 World Cup.

Although Curran has confirmed that he has returned back to training, he has mentioned that his rehab process is yet to finish. Hence, considering some important assignments later this year, the youngster has given IPL 2022 a miss.
