In a weird interruption which happened during the second T20I of the ongoing three-match series between the Indian cricket team and the South African cricket team, a snake stopped play at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.

The three-match T20I series between the Indian cricket team and the South African cricket team started on Wednesday at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. The Indian cricket team won the first match by eight wickets and gained a lead of 1-0 in the three-match series.

The second T20I started earlier tonight at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. It is the third T20I on this ground, and India are yet to win a T20I here. Temba Bavuma won the toss and asked the hosts to have a bat first.

“We’re going to have a bowl first. Obviously, we’ll have to manage our energies well. We’ll have to strike up early, put them under pressure and keep them to a good total to chase down. Good pitch – different to the first game from what it looks like,” said Bavuma.
