Talking about IPL, every player tries to perform well for his franchise in the league. However, not everyone has a good day on the field every time. Sometimes, the players who score centuries even get out for a duck in the next match. This listicle features the one batsman from each team who has the most ducks in IPL.

While the southpaw has registered one century and 32 fifties for the Super Kings, he has also got out for a duck eight times. No other CSK player has lost his wicket for zero so many times.

Delhi Capitals – Shikhar Dhawan and Virender Sehwag: 6 ducks

Virender Sehwag captained the Delhi Capitals team in a few seasons. The right-handed batsman opened the innings for his team and scored 2,174 runs at an average of 29.38. Since he often played aggressively, Sehwag got out for a duck six times.

Shikhar Dhawan joined Virender Sehwag at the top this year. The southpaw had a dream IPL season in the United Arab Emirates. However, he also got out for a duck, which took his tally to six.

Kings XI Punjab – Glenn Maxwell: 9 ducks

It is surprising to note that the former Kings XI Punjab captain Glenn Maxwell is at number one from the Mohali-based franchise. The Aussie all-rounder has recorded nine ducks in 62 innings for Punjab.

The right-handed batsman has scored 1,294 runs for KXIP in 65 matches. While some others have played more games than Maxwell, no other KXIP batsman recorded more than seven ducks.

Kolkata Knight Riders – Gautam Gambhir: 10 ducks

Gautam Gambhir will go down as one of the best captains in IPL history. The southpaw transformed the Kolkata Knight Riders into a champion side.

Under his captaincy, the franchise won the 2012 and 2014 IPL championships. However, Gambhir lost his wicket without scoring a single run ten times in his IPL career for KKR.

Mumbai Indians – Harbhajan Singh: 13 ducks

Chennai Super Kings spinner Harbhajan Singh played in the IPL for the Mumbai Indians from 2008 to 2017. Singh majorly played as a bowling all-rounder for the Mukesh Ambani-owned franchise.

Bhaji also played 84 IPL innings for Mumbai. The Punjab-based player often tried to hit the ball hard, and in those attempts, he got out for a duck 13 times.

Sunrisers Hyderabad – Rashid Khan: 6 ducks

Like Harbhajan Singh, Rashid Khan has looked to hit the ball outside the boundary line after arriving in the middle. Khan has lost his wicket for zero six times.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise has a good record in terms of ducks. No other player has recorded even five ducks while playing for the Orange Army.

Rajasthan Royals – Shane Warne and Stuart Binny: 7 ducks

The Rajasthan Royals had won the first IPL title under Shane Warne’s guidance. Unfortunately, the leg-spinner got out for a duck seven times in his IPL career.

All-rounder Stuart Binny played multiple seasons for the Rajasthan Royals. While he could hit the ball decently, Binny departed to the pavilion without scoring seven times.

Royal Challengers Bangalore – AB de Villiers: 7 ducks

The Royal Challengers Bangalore have had many big names in their batting department. AB de Villiers has become an indispensable part of the franchise.

The South African wicket-keeper batsman has played 130 IPL innings for the Bangalore-based franchise. In those innings, he got out for zero only seven times.
