One of the most famous English all-rounders, Andrew Flintoff, decided to retire from this field in the year 2010 post his mental stress issues and habits of drinking along with the reduced form in the area.
He told the Guardian that, “I didn’t understand what was happening to me. I knew when I got back to my room, I couldn’t shut off, which is why I started having a drink. It got to the stage where I was probably drinking more than I should”.

The ladies wicket-keeper batsman for the English side who had 232 dismissals while keeping the wicket became the victim of anxiety-related issues, which started haunting his career, which forced her to retire from cricket.
She stated, “This has been a tough decision, but I know it’s the right one for me and my health moving forward. I can’t thank my teammates enough, both past and present, and the ECB for being supporters and friends along my journey. I am incredibly proud of my career. I leave with my head held high and excited about what my future holds and what my next chapter brings,”
