The Indian cricket team have got off to a winning start as the Men in Blue (or white rather) won the 1st match of the 2 match series to take a 1-0 lead in the series as India hopes to climb up the ladder in the hope of making it to the World Test Championship Final.
It took about less than an hour for Team India to wrap up the match. Resuming their inning from yesterday’s overnight score, Bangladesh lost the wicket of Mehidy Hasan Miraz early as Mohammed Siraj drew the first blood.
Then Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan took all the responsibility upon his hand and started playing some big shots, however, a smart change from captain KL Rahul saw Kuldeep Yadav bowled Shakib back to the pavilion.
He returned for another over and this time got the better of Ebadot Hossain. The match was wrapped up by Axar Patel who bowled Taijul Islam to win the match by 188 runs. Meanwhile, Indian fans are rejoicing India’s win and many even crediting KL Rahul’s captaincy as a major reason behind India’s win.
