The Indian U19 Team defeated the Sri Lanka U19 Team by nine wickets to lift the U19 Asia Cup. This will be a confidence booster for the teenagers, whose next assignment will be the U19 World Cup. India wins the U19 Asia Cup

Losing the toss, India was asked to field first by Sri Lanka at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. However, the decision worked in favour of the Indians. Especially with the rain around, automatically, the advantage was with India. The bowlers did a fine job of restricting the Sri Lanka Team to 106-9 in 38 overs. Vicky Ostwal, the left-arm spinner, was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets. There were multiple interruptions that helped India. Eventually, based on the DRS method, India won the game by nine wickets.
