Australian pacer Brett Lee showcased his ability and skill once again when the legendary pacer successfully defended 7 runs in the final over in a Legends League Cricket match.
Legends League Cricket is a good opportunity for people to witness legends from around the world play each other and get to know their skills and abilities if you haven’t watch them play.
And one such legend that you wanna watch is Australian pace bowler Brett Lee, world’s one of the top pace bowler. And he once again showcased his skills by defending 7 runs in the final over of a T20 match.
It was a high scoring match between India Maharajas and World Giants in the Legends League Cricket. The Maharajas were chasing a target of 229 and batted beautifully.
They needed 8 runs to win in the final over of the match with Brett Lee bowling. In normal circumstances, you would say this is very easy, but when Lee is infront of you, you have to doubt it.
Brett Lee produced a super class bowling as he successfully defended 7 runs, showing that even at the age of 46, he has still got it.
It was Rajat Bhatia and quickfiring Irfan Pathan on the crease when the last over started. Pathan has already scored 56 runs of 20 balls, and Lee first dismissed him to take control of the match, and then gave only 1 run in the next 3 balls before getting Rajat Bhatia run out. He finished off with a dot ball, ensuring a 5 runs win for the World Giants.
Twitterati went buzzing seeing the 46-year-old still showing his skills and is able to defend 7 runs in a over.

Brett Lee’s final over of the career in competitive cricket had similar runs to defend as tonight, he might’ve not got the results he wanted that day. But tonight he made sure to win the game for his side with his masterclass. pic.twitter.com/WLj1xNHvbF
