He had a stunning County season with the Sussex, scoring over 1000 runs in just 8 matches. As a result, he called-back to the Indian team for the only and the 5th rescheduled Test match against England. However, it didn’t go well for him though.

He has once again joined the Sussex team, this time for the Royal London One Day Cup which is currently being played. As of writing this article, he has scored 367 runs in 5 matches, of which, he scored 281 runs in the previous two matches, and we have witnessed a different Pujara.

While Pujara is best known for his Test career, he was never given a huge run in the Indian ODI team. But, he certainly has proved that he is good enough for ODI cricket and the fans just cannot believe what they are seeing from Pujara, who is batting with over 130 strike rate.
