India do well against England in the warm-up fixture

England batted first and scored at a quick rate to put up 188 runs on the board. Although none of the Englishmen got a half-century, Jonny Bairstow, Liam Livingstone and Moeen Ali had excellent contributions in the middle. In the Indian bowling department, both Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rahul Chahar had a forgettable day.

However, the men in blue started well with the bat. Both KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan came out with positive intent and took on the English bowlers. They made the chase easy for the other batters.
