India win the warm-up fixture against Australia

After a satisfactory win against England, India was looking forward to a challenge by the full-strength Australian squad. At the toss, Rohit Sharma said that Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami would not take part in the game.

The Indian bowlers did a decent job as the Aussies were restricted to 152 runs in the first innings. KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma put up a brilliant show and later on, Suryakumar Yadav came to the party as India won the game by nine wickets.
