Once again, the former Indian opener has gained the attention of the fans for his savage reply to a Pakistani commentator who made a big blunder on Twitter. A Pakistani Islamist political commentator named Zaid Hamid posted a tweet praising his country’s Javelin thrower Nadeem Arshad for winning gold medal in the recently concluded Commonwealth Games.
In the process, the Pakistani commentator tried to belittle India’s star athlete Neeraj Chopra, who was ruled out of the event due to an injury. It should be noted that Neeraj had beat Nadeem in Javelin event at Tokyo Olympics in 2021 to get his hands on the gold. However, Hamid made a big blunder by mentioning the former Indian pacer Ashish Nehra instead of Neeraj Chopra.
“And what makes this victory even more sweeter is the fact that this Pakistani athlete has destroyed Indian javelin throw hero Ashish Nehra…In the last competition Ashish had defeated Arshad Nadeem…What a sweet revenge come back…”, Zaid Hamid’s tweet read.
To this Virender Sehwag replied: “Chicha, Ashish Nehra is right now preparing for UK Prime Minister Elections. So chill.”
