India’s Women’s Team needed a victory against South Africa to qualify for the semi-finals of the ongoing World Cup. However, the team lost the game by just three wickets and hence, got eliminated from the event. A no-ball gets India knocked out of the World Cup
India was all set to win the game but Deepti Sharma bowled a no-ball and with that, India could not cross the line. Had that been out, India would have been in a good spot to win the encounter.
Batting first, India made 274 runs in 50 overs. With the ball, India struck regularly but the South African Team kept chipping away at the target and hence, they came out victorious at the end.
