8.Vinay Kumar

Vinay Kumar was immensely successful when he played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. However, the team management decided to release him in 2014 as he became a part of Kolkata Knight Riders and won the title with them. In 2015, he joined Mumbai Indians, and once again lifted the trophy. Vinay played his last season for MI in 2017.

7.Zaheer Khan

Zaheer Khan began his IPL career with Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2008. As RCB could not make it to the semifinals, the team management released him and joined the Mumbai Indians. After spending two seasons with MI, Khan came back to RCB in 2011. Three years later, he rejoined Mumbai before ending his career with Delhi Daredevils.

6.RP Singh

The former IPL Purple Cap winner, Rudra Pratap Singh, always earned the franchises’ attention because he was a left-arm Indian pacer, who had much T20 experience. After playing for Deccan Chargers and Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Singh joined Mumbai in 2012 and then moved to Bangalore in 2013. However, he could not achieve much success, playing for both franchises.

5.Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey was another Karnataka-based player who made his IPL debut for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2008. He has had a similar pattern as Robin Uthappa. The duo played for Royal Challengers Bangalore next and was together at Pune Warriors India and Kolkata Knight Riders. However, Pandey is a part of Hyderabad right now, whereas Uthappa will play for Rajasthan Royals.
