A majority of the 90s cricket fans would know about Heath Streak because the fast bowler was one of the vital cogs of the Zimbabwean bowling attack. But, what many fans would not know is that Heath’s father Denis Streak inspired him to take up this sport.

Denis Streak was one of the best players of Zimbabwe when the African nation was just finding its feet in international cricket. Denis played extremely well for the country, which is why, in a match against Mashonaland Country Districts, the Matabeleland selectors allowed him to include his son, Heath Streak in the Lonrho Logan Cup match.
