He was one of the luckiest player who got the chance to play in Under 19 World Cup. He got an an golden opportunity to represent the nation World Cup Under Nineteen in 2012 edition. Then, in 2014 it was a boon for him as he was announced as the caption of the team who led the team efficiently. He scored 151 with an average of 25.1 and was considered as the best player who played against Papu New Ginuea where he ended up scoring 67 runs. In 2014 edition , 120 runs were secured by him but unfortunately he wasn’t able to make the team win the title and grab the trophy as they received an exit from quarter finals.
In 2016 ,he played India ‘A’where was in headline because of his remarkable century against New Zealand team ‘A’.Then, he was again on fire again when he played in Ranji Trophy in Maharashtra. He was picked up by the Royal Challengers in 2014 edition of Indian Premier League. He got various opportunities but he didn’t live up to the expectations .
