5. Moeen Ali has become a game-changer for MS Dhoni’s team

English all-rounder Moeen Ali did not get consistent opportunities to prove himself when he was a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad. RCB released him before the 2021 season of IPL.

Ali then earned a deal from the Chennai Super Kings. The all-rounder has done well so far, scoring 108 runs and taking four wickets. He registered his career best IPL figures against the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2021.

4. Shane Watson

Shane Watson was the star all-rounder of the Rajasthan Royals from 2008 to 2015. However, after RR’s suspension, Watson became a member of the RCB squad.

In the two seasons he played for RCB, Watson scored less than 300 runs with the bat, but after switching to CSK, he scored 555 runs in the 2018 season only. Watson ended his career at CSK in 2020.

3. Karn Sharma

Very few fans might know that Karn Sharma made his IPL debut for the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in the IPL. He did not get a chance to bowl in that match, while he scored one run at a strike rate of 33.33.

After giving his best to SRH and MI, Karn bagged a deal from the Chennai Super Kings in 2018. The leg-spinner has played 12 matches for CSK, taking 10 wickets at a strike rate of 18.80.

2. Ashok Dinda

Ashok Dinda got an opportunity to play under MS Dhoni’s captaincy in the IPL during the 2016 season. Dinda earned a contract from the Rising Pune Supergiant team.

The right-arm pacer played for RCB from 2014 to 2015. In those seasons, he picked up five wickets, while conceding runs at an economy rate of 9.22. After switching to RPS, his economy came down to 8.64 and he bowled multiple maiden overs for the team. Also, his wicket tally was 12 wickets in 12 games.

1. Jaydev Unadkat performed his best for MS Dhoni’s team

Although MS Dhoni was not the captain of Rising Pune Supergiant in 2017, Jaydev Unadkat performed really well for his team that year. Unadkat was a top contender for the Purple Cap award.

He took 24 wickets in just 12 matches. When he was a part of the RCB franchise, Unadkat took 13 wickets in 13 matches. Also, his economy rate was slightly higher at RCB.
