We know the former Pakistani cricketer as Mohammad Yousuf didn’t have the same name in his earlier days. Yousuf was born in a Christian family in Pakistan but had a firm belief in Islam as a religion.

Owing to his faith, he changed his name from Yousuf Youhana to Mohammad Yousuf and later on became famous with that name only. Currently, he has retired from all forms of the game and has been focusing on his present career as a religious preacher.

3.Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi

Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi

The 6th Nawab of Pataudi, who came to be known as Mansur Ali Khan, had a different name during his earlier days. Because of the ceasing of princely titles started by the Government of India, he had to change his name.

He was previously known as Nawab Pataudi Junior, which later on became Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi. He had a tremendous cricketing career as he smashed 6 Test centuries in just 45 matches and even had the batting average close to 35.
