VRV Singh had a very short international career. Many Indian fans would have forgotten the pace bowler named Vikram Raj Vir Singh, but the fact is he had played 5 Tests and 2 ODI matches for the Indian cricket team. He even played for Kings XI Punjab in the IPL. However, a lack of consistency and constant injury issues forced him to retire last year. Last year, BCCI formed a team for Chandigarh in the domestic circuit, and the cricket association of that Union Territory appointed VRV Singh as the coach.
