Parag smashed 18 runs off the last over bowled by Patel. It is unclear what led to the argument between the two players after the first innings, but they had a heated exchange. In the second innings, when Patel lost his wicket and the match ended, Parag came to shake his hand.

However, the Royal Challengers Bangalore star refused to shake his hand. Instead, he went on to shake hands with other players of the Rajasthan Royals team. While Parag could not settle the matter with Patel, he did win the Man of the Match award for his half-century against the RCB side.
