The PSL vs IPL debate has always been a topic for discussion among cricket fans on social media. IPL is regarded by many as the greatest T20 league on the planet, whereas some Pakistan fans feel that their league is also on that level. Robin Uthappa recently gave a savage reply to a Pakistani journalist who said that PSL is better than IPL.

A Pakistani journalist pointed out that PSL is better than IPL in terms of growth. He pointed out how IPL faced no competition from other leagues when it started in 2008. On the other side, the Pakistan Super League faces competition from many other tournaments, including the IPL. Also, the tournament started in 2016 and has grown so much.

“No comparison between PSL and IPL! PSL started in 2016 while IPL inaugurated in 2008. However one has to admit PSL gained worldwide popularity more quicker in an era when other boards had introduced their leagues too whereas there was no competitor in the market when IPL was born,” he wrote.
