CSK’s fairytale comeback after IPL 2020

Chennai Super Kings had a disastrous IPL 2020, as they were the first team to be knocked out for the race to playoffs. People called the team a Dads Army, due to the average age of the team.

But they bounced back strong, as the MS Dhoni led side finished 2nd in the league table, but defeated Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders in the Qualifier 1 and in the final respectively. Ruturaj Gaikwad won the Orange Cap for the team and Faf du Plessis finished as the 2nd highest run getter, as he scored 2 runs less than Gaikwad.
