Rishabh Pant is one of the biggest names in Indian cricket right now. The left-handed batter has made a name for himself with his aggressive performances on the field. Pant has played an integral role in India’s recent overseas success in Test cricket. He was a part of the squad that won the Test series against Australia in 2018/19 and 2020/21.

In 2022, he has a chance to be a part of the squad that beats England in a Test series on English soil. One of the main reasons behind Pant’s success has been the fact that he does not shy away from playing his natural game even when the conditions favor the bowlers.

He has tackled swing and bounce in his own way. Earlier this year, Pant also scored a century in the ICC World Test Championship series against the South African cricket team away from home. He is just 24 years old, but he has scored a hundred in England, Australia and South Africa.

Only Sachin Tendulkar is ahead of Rishabh Pant in an interesting statistic

A Twitter user recently shared a stat of Indian batters and how they performed in overseas Test matches at the age of 24. Only Sachin Tendulkar had a better batting average than Rishabh Pant at that point of time in his career.

“No Indian Batter at the age of 24 had more runs than Rishabh Pant in Test cricket at better average in overseas Except Sachin Tendulkar,” the Twitter user wrote.
