Marnus Labuschagne recently became the number one batter on the ICC Test Rankings. The Australian cricket team star troubled the opposition bowling attacks with his phenomenal batting performances. But Labuschagne played Test cricket outside Asia only in the last two years.
The Australian cricket team is currently on a tour of Pakistan, and the right-handed batter is having a tough time against the Pakistan cricket team bowlers. Marnus got out for zero in the previous innings. Earlier today, in the third match of the ICC World Test Championship series between the Australian cricket team and the Pakistan cricket team, Marnus nicked a delivery from Shaheen Shah Afridi straight into the hands of wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan.
Afridi bowled a fiery spell in the third match of the ICC World Test Championship series between the Australian cricket team and the Pakistan cricket team. He dismissed the dangerous duo of David Warner and Marnus Labsuchagne in the space of three deliveries.
Just before the series, Marnus revealed that he watched some of the previous matches played in Pakistan to understand the conditions at the venues in the country.
“I’ve watched the PSL quite closely and I’ve actually watched a few old games lately on YouTube, like the Pakistan v England and Pakistan v India series in 2004 and 2006. Just to get a gauge on what the wickets are like,” he said in an interview with Cricbuzz.
