It has been talk of the country for the past couple of weeks as to why Ravichandran Ashwin is not getting the opportunity to play in the Test series against England.
The Indian team suffered a huge loss against the England cricket team in the 3rd Test match of 5 match Test match series as India was handed an innings and 76 runs defeat in Leeds’ Headingley Stadium.
After the toss, when the Indian team was announced and one particular Ravichandran Ashwin’s name was missing from the playing eleven, the fans were surprised to see one of the most experienced Indian spinner has been excluded once again.
Ravichandran Ashwin has been travelling with the team but has not even featured once in the 3 Test matches that India has played on its tour to UK.
Former England international player Michael Vaughan tweeted out on his Twitter handle, “#BringAshwinBack” in reply to a tweet by Cricbuzz.
Indian cricket commentator and journalist Harsha Bhogle reacted to the tweet by retweeting it saying, “Haha, he will play at the Oval anyway!.” It is clearly understandable from his tweet that he believes Ravichandran Ashwin will be playing in the 4th Test which will be played at the Kennington Oval.
