The 34th match of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League is currently underway at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, where the Delhi Capitals are playing against the Rajasthan Royals. DC captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and decided to bowl first. During the RR innings, there was a moment where Khaleel Ahmed put down a catch which would have been taken 9 out of 10 times by himself.
Talking about the match between the Rajasthan Royals and the Delhi Capitals, RR got off to a slow start. Shardul Thakur bowled a maiden over, and it looked like the DC bowlers would rule the evening. However, Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal relentlessly attacked them after settling down in the middle.
Padikkal completed a half-century, while Buttler whacked his third century of the season as the Rajasthan Royals inched closer to the 200-run mark. Khaleel Ahmed broke the opening partnership in the 16th by trapping Padikkal in front of his stumps.
Ahmed had an opportunity to take one more wicket in this IPL 2022 match during the 18th over. On the final ball, Sanju Samson mistimed a pull shot, and the ball went high up in the air. Khaleel himself tried for the catch. However, he could not complete it, allowing Samson to continue batting in the middle.

That drop must've been heartbreaking
Given CSK's recent fielding woes, that drop by Khaleel ain't even surprising.
