Life is full of ups and downs. Someone can be at the top of his game at some point, and at the other, he could be at the bottom. Mohit Sharma and his cricketing career have underwent a similar change recently. Mohit, who played for the Indian cricket team in the 2014 T20 World Cup and the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, is now a net bowler.

The Haryana-based pacer was once the spearhead of the Chennai Super Kings pace-bowling attack. He was MS Dhoni’s go-to bowler. However, Sharma’s career declined after the Super Kings received a temporary suspension from the league. After that, he played for the Punjab Kings but could not deliver similar performances. When he was with CSK, he won the Purple Cap award for taking the most wickets.

After a stint with Punjab, Mohit returned to CSK but did not get enough chances to prove himself. He played only one match for Chennai, where he returned with figures of 1/27. In 2020, he moved to the Delhi Capitals. Again, he only played one match and returned with figures of 1/45.

Mohit went unsold at the IPL Auction 2022. The pace bowler posted a story on his official Instagram account today along with Barinder Sran and Gurkeerat Singh Mann. It was a photo from the Holi celebrations. Gurkeerat is a player of the Gujarat Titans squad, thereby confirming that Mohit and Sran are also with the squad. Even Lukman Meriwala is a net bowler for the Titans.
